Entrepreneurs should come forward in support of state’s development

Lack of funds will not hinder fulfilment of dreams of talents

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that lack of funds will not be a hindrance in fulfilling the dreams of state’s talents. Government has implemented schemes like Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Chhatra Yojana to promote talents in the field of higher education and Mukhya Mantri Udyami Yojana to support talents in industry and trade. He called upon the leaders of the industrial sector that they use their capacity, skills and experiences to develop the state. Shri Chouhan was addressing the fourth Achievement Award programme of the Federation of Madhya Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries today.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that it is indeed good that huge industries come up in state, but it is also equally important to lay down a network of small industries in villages. For this efforts must be made to set up industries in every panchayat. He said that there are huge possibilities of setting up food processing industries, cold storage and warehouses in the region. Leaders of the industry should ponder and give their suggestions in this regard, He said that a new M.P has to be built for a New India. For this the government, industry and business world will have to work together. Core team should be formed to think over efforts to encourage investment and small industries for development of the state. He said that business leaders are members of Team Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister told them to support in the efforts to promote industry and business world. He said that real estate is a sector in which there are widespread possibilities of employment generation. He also informed about organising real estate panchayat and a discussion on promoting industries and business world next month. The Chief Minister honoured the achievement awardees and wished them a bright future. He released the Federation booklet.

Industry Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla said that state government has made massive efforts for industrial revolution. The government has made various types of assistance of over Rs 1500 crores to the business world and other facilities. It has ensued availability of 1.5 lakh hectare land for industries. The state’s growth rate has been over 10 per cent. He congratulated the winners.

Trustee FMPCCI, Shri Girish Agrawal said that a peaceful atmosphere has been generated in the state for industries due to the constructive outlook of the state government. Federation Chairman Dr. R. S. Goswami outlined the programme saying that 37, 900 persons have been given employment in the units of award winners. Their gross production is of more than Rs 1 lakh 17 thousand crore. They have earned an achievement of more than 65 percent growth.

Federation Vice Chairman Sushri Meena Pimplapure propose the vote of thanks. All speakers remembered former Chairman of the federation Late Shri Ramesh Chandra Agarwal and his contributions.
