All possible help to farmers and government with them in every crisis: CM Shri Chouhan

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the government is with the farmers and will provide all possible assistance to them. He said the farmers will be provided relief to tackle drought in drought-affected areas of Shivpuri district. The Chief Minister was addressing Kisan Sammelan at Badarvas in Shivpuri district today.

Special package under MNREGA will be given to provide employment to the poor and labourers. Assuring farmers he said that government is with the farmer to take on the challenge of drought. Shri Chouhan said that prompt action will be taken to change burnt transformers in drought-hit areas. Tubewells and handpumps will be installed in places with sufficient ground water level. The farmers whose outstanding interest on Samadhan Yojana loan is more than the principle amount, their interest amount will be waived. Besides, they will also be given the concession to pay principle amount in 8 to 10 installments.

Shri Chouhan distributed sanction letters of bhavantar amount of nearly Rs 31 crore 34 lakh to 14,102 farmers of Shivpuri district under Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana on the occasion. Besides, he also distributed benefits of Rs 1 billion 34 crore 27 lakhs to 32128 beneficiaries of various public welfare and beneficiary-oriented schemes.

CM Shri Chouhan announced opening of art faculty in New Government College in Badarvas, construction of ITI and construction of small irrigation schemes in Singhdhan, Raikheda, Dhamnatuk, Pali, Rajgarh, Sesai, Giroyk, Bijrauni and Baroudia of Kolaras sub-division after survey for the academic session 2018-19.

Rs 88 crore crop insurance amount to 18,000 farmers

Shri Chouhan told that Rs 88 crores was distributed to 18,000 farmers in Kolaras under Crop Insurance Scheme. Rs 650 crore has been deposited in the accounts of farmers on purchase of onion at Rs 8 per kg on support price. He told that the price difference amount of the crops of farmers has been deposited in their accounts under the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana. The Chief Minister assured the farmers their crop will not be sold at a price lower than the support price under any circumstance.

Farmers to get B-1 and Khasra copies at their residence

CM Shri Chouhan said that provision has been made for recovery of fine from the concerned officer dealing in case of undisputed transfer and property distribution. Revenue squad will visit each house in the village and distribute copies of Khasra and B-1 to the farmers free-of-cost. Giving information about the various schemes being run for various sections of society, he said landless persons will be given ownership o pattas in state. Houses will be constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for these patta holders. About 15,000 houses have been constructed in the district. The Chief Minister instructed the district administration to organize power panchayat and camps for redressal of electricity bill complaints of villagers.

Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Rustum Singh, Minister of State (Independent charge) for Cooperatives Shri Vishwas Sarang, MP Shri Prabhat Jha, Deputy Chairman of Machua Kalyan Board Shri Raju Batham, MLAs Sarvashri Prahlad Bharti, Gopilal Jatav, Ghanshyam Pironiya, Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Kisan Cell President and Former MLA Shri Ranvir Singh and large number of farmers were present on the occasion.
